Broomfield Santa Cops and Higgy's Ice Cream Challenge

The Broomfield Santa Cops program continues to be a bright shining and successful program here in Broomfield. Every Year the Police Department delivers gifts to kids around the community that otherwise might have no presents to open on Christmas. Chief Deland tells me that every year, more kids are in need and he expects that to continue next year. In addition, Cheif Deland has visions of expanding the successful program in other ways too.

Higgy's Ice Cream Shoppe wanted to get involved! I have issued the Higgy's Ice Cream Christmas Challenge. The goal is to raise $5,000 to get a head start on funding The Santa Cops Program for next year. Here's how we do it. For $20, you can buy a certificate good for 4 Pints of Fresh, Homemade Ice Cream, Your Choice of Flavors. Or if you just can't wait, you can have four pints of ice cream ready for you at the store or delivered to your house. Higgy's Ice Cream will then give $5 per order to the Santa Cops Program. The Certificates would make great Christmas Gifts and they look great in stockings! Our Goal is to raise $5,000 this week, so, please forward this Email and the attached flyer to anyone you think might want to participate.
