Face Painter

There will be a face painter tonite @ Higgy's Ice Cream! She's great and has been there a couple times now. The kiddos love her! Come check it out, and have some homemade ice cream:)

Candy Apples?!

Higgy's Ice Cream is going to start doing candy apples for the Fall. Yummm!! I'm excited for that. It will be really cool. We're going to be having coffee drinks, espresso, baked goods, candy apples, and more. This is gonna be cool. I'm excited to see the additions! We need to come up with a display for all the new treats, though. Hmmmm... we shall see:)

Transition!

We're working on a transition phase at Higgy's Ice Cream now that we're going into the Fall. We're going to focus more on coffee drinks and baked goods. We're also going to change the look of the shoppe a bit, a more relaxed atmosphere where people can sit and drink coffee, have a pastry, and just chill out for a little bit. We know that people still buy ice cream the rest of the year, they just don't necessarily go out looking for it, so we'll be providing what they are looking for, and bringing the ice cream to them. More to come on those plans, but, they are in progress. Every new month brings a new idea for the business, and we're putting together as much of it as we can. I'm excited to see what's to come and how everything looks!

Half off Students Returning to School on Friday!

Higgy's is doing half off ice cream for students this friday, all ages! Come get some ice cream!

August?!?

August? When did that happen? It was just May, right? Crazy, school's starting! All the more reason to take advantage of every day. I like to relax, I got a lot of that in when we were in Switzerland, which was needed and appreciated! But, my daily life is not so relaxing, so I'm doing my best every day to go full steam ahead, which doesn't necessarily come naturally to me, but I do understand the necessity of it. I am utterly and completely reliant on God, every day, for my energy, confidence, patience, and not worrying myself to death about various things. So I will push ahead one day at a time because that's what I can do.
